How to photograph a car for the best result?
To ensure your illuminated picture looks great even in a large format, we have prepared instructions on how to get the ideal photo.
Technical requirements for the photo
— Minimum resolution: 12 megapixels (the more, the better) — Formats: JPG, PNG, TIFF, PDF — Aspect ratio: 3:2 (landscape or portrait) — DPI: 300 dpi recommended (minimum 150 dpi)
Size 30×40 cm
For this format, detailed shots are ideal — close-up headlights, front grille, side lines. The car should occupy most of the shot. A distant overall view is not suitable — small details cannot be well expressed in print.
✅ Works: close-up headlight, front detail
❌ Doesn't work: entire car from a distance
Below is an example of the angle from which the photo should be taken.

Size 60×40 cm
The shooting angle plays an important role. The car must not be far away — this significantly affects the quality when cropping. We always enhance the photo quality, but if the car is far away and the image is cropped and enlarged, the quality will deteriorate on a large format.
✅ Works: car close in frame, sharp image
❌ Doesn't work: car far in frame
Below is an example of the angle from which the photo should be taken.

Size 80×50 cm
The photo quality must be maximal. We do not recommend cropping for this format. The headlights in the photo must be large and prominent.
✅ Works: high quality, car close-up, large headlights
❌ Doesn't work: low quality, car from a distance
Below is an example of the angle from which the photo should be taken.

Important tips for photography
— Use zoom/telephoto lens: shots from a greater distance using 2x/3x optical zoom create a more accurate perspective without distortion — Stable angle: too close with a phone will cause a "fisheye" effect — Detail: the shot must be zoomed in on the part of the car you want to highlight
